Powers of the Mandelbulb, in 3D using POV-Ray Media
The mandelbulb is a three-dimensional fractal similar to the Mandelbrot set. This short video shows how the mandelbulb evolves as its power is raised from one through one-hundred. I used the POV-Ray ray-tracer to render this mathematical oddity as emission media.
